What can you do today to look after your future self?
Knowing yourself as you do, can you look after yourself in a way that your future self will thank you for?
Last week I struggled with my energy levels. Feeling tired, very tired. I had been struggling to get up feed kids, shower dress and get everyone out of the door on time. Everything felt like I was dragging myself around. So I started something simple… laying my clothes out the night before, cleaning the kitchen counter before I went to bed and setting out clean lunch boxes on the table. Not because that’s what I normally do.. but because I’m future proofing.. knowing that I may wake up late I have looked after my future self and taken away a few extra steps off the mountain climb…
So what simple things can you do today to help yourself tomorrow.. or next week?
